How to Configure Either/Or

Either/Or is a fast-paced game that allows users to test their sports knowledge by choosing a correct answer between two available options in a X number of seconds. This guide will help you manage Either/Or games on your platform by configuring the global settings such as game types and authentication requirements.


Accessing Global Either/Or Configuration

To access any of the global configuration options for Either/Or:

  1. Navigate to the Features section in the left sidebar
  2. Select Either/Or from the features list

From here, you can configure the following options:

⚙️ Game Types

To configure the types of Either/Or games available on your platform:

  • Look for the Types option
  • To add a new game type click on the '+' icon and:
    1. Fill in the ID field with a unique identifier for the game type
    2. Fill in the Label field with the name for this game type
  • To remove a game type, click the circle with "X" icon next to the type
  • Click the UPDATE button to save your changes

⚙️ Authentication Requirements

To configure the default authentication requirements for all Either/Or games:

  • Look for the Auth requirement option
  • Choose the type of authentication to be used from the dropdown menu:
    • Free: No registration required
    • Lead: Basic information collection
    • Registered: Full user registration required
  • Click the UPDATE button to save your changes

This global setting serves as the default for all Either/Or games, ensuring consistency across your platform.
